Female athletes who have won Laureus Sportswoman of the Year award more than once
The Laureus World Sports Awards is a big international event that honors top players from around the world every year. One of the important awards given here is Sportswoman of the Year, which started in the year 2000. The main aim of this award is to recognize female athletes who have performed well in their sport and also made a good impact on society through sports.
This award is given by the Laureus Sport for Good Foundation. First, top sports journalists from around the world select names for nominations. Then, the Laureus World Sports Academy chooses the final winner. The winner gets the award at a special ceremony held in different countries every year.
