In the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy match at KL Saini ground, Tushar Deshpande, a pacer for Chennai Super Kings, achieved a hat-trick as Mumbai convincingly defeated Mizoram by 9 wickets.
Tushar concluded his spell with impressive figures of 4 for 13 in 3.3 overs.
When bowling first, the Mumbai bowlers continually disrupted Mizoram’s rhythm, with Tushar leading the charge, securing a hat-trick in the second over. His ability to swing the ball both ways first dismissed Vikash Kumar and then trapped Jehu Anderson and Joseph Lalthankhuma.
