The Nepal women’s kabaddi team outclassed the Bangladeshi side in the opening match of their five-match bilateral kabaddi Test series. The visitors lost 41-18 in one of the heaviest defeats.
The match took place at the Lainchaur Covered Hall in Kathmandu on April 20.
Nepal remained dominant throughout the match, collecting several bonus points and excellent raids, scoring an additional 23 points in the second-half. They ruled the first half by 18-6 points with one lona and continued their dominance over the visitors for the remaining part of the game with two more lonas.

Bangladesh head coach Shahnaz Parvin Maleka stated that the loss came due to fatigue from travel and player injuries.
“We arrived in Kathmandu yesterday [Saturday] and hardly had any rest. Three of our players are dealing with injuries,” Maleka said. “We aim to perform better in the next match by addressing the mistakes we made today.”
