The match was pretty even till the first half as Manchester United dominated the first 15 minutes of the proceedings but later succumbed to high pressing from the ever-present Newcastle midfield.

After being non-consistent for most part of the season, Newcastle have struck the chord at the right time and will likely replace Nottingham Forest for a Top 3 finish this season.
