The fourth day of the fourth Test against Australia in Ahmedabad saw star Indian batsman Virat Kohli reach three figures after 1205 days without a Test century. As the match ended in a draw, Kohli was named “Player of the Match” after smashing a 186-run innings. Following New Zealand’s victory over Sri Lanka in the opening Test match at the Hagley Oval in Christchurch on Monday, India won the series 2-1 and also advanced to the World Test Championship (WTC) final.
There were some concerns about Kohli’s position on the team during his slump with the bat.
