Jesse Lingard scored against his former club West ham.

England national football team’s midfielder Jesse Lingard has left Manchester United after being there at the club for more than 20 years. It is not good news for Manchester United as Lingard was their academy player. Lingard joined the club in the year 2001 when the English midfielder was just 9 years old.

The Premier League club (Manchester United) also confirmed this news on Wednesday, 1st June. Red Devils made a post on all their social media handles to thank Jesse Lingard for his wonderful journey with the club since 2001. However, the fans already knew that the English midfielder won’t be staying in the club for the next season.

Manchester United also announced this afternoon that French midfielder Paul Pogba will also leave the club this summer. Before the transfer window starts, Manchester United has already lost their two midfielders and they are in desperate need of central midfielders. Barcelona’s midfielder Frenkie de Jong is also considered as an option by new manager Erik ten Haag after the official talks with the club for the player have started as per Fabrizio Romano.

Paul Pogba will most likely be joining Serie A side Juventus (as reported by Fabrizio Romano) but it is still unclear where Jesse Lingard will end up at the end of this summer transfer window.
