Manchester United have finally completed the signing of their priority man Antony from Ajax on Tuesday, 30th August. The deal was announced on Tuesday noon. It is being announced everywhere by Man United, their social media handles and official website as well.
Antony wanted the move for so long and he only wanted Manchester United (as per Fabrizio Romano). Few days before this deal, Fabrizio had a interview with the Brazilian forward, where he opened up about his desire of joining the Premier League side (Manchester United). Antony was disappointed from his former side Ajax FC as he felt the club wasn’t ready to sell him for any money and was overvaluing him. Manchester United made too many bids for the player as since the start he was Erik ten Hag’s main target.
Antony now be seen in the Manchester United shirt as what he wished. He will be back with his former manager Erik ten Hag. Antony could be seen playing against Leicester City which is a mid-week game, however this seems unlikely. If not against Leicester, then Antony will definitely be present against Arsenal FC.
