French midfielder Paul Pogba is set to leave Manchester United as a free agent as confirmed by the club itself on Wednesday, 1st June. Manchester United made a post on their official social media handles to say goodbye to their academy boy Paul Pogba.

Last season Manchester United offered their star 29-year midfielder a new deal which would have made him the highest-paid footballer in the Premier League history but he rejected the deal and didn’t sign it with the club. Despite the news that was out on Wednesday, it was confirmed a few months ago that Paul will not renew his contract at MUFC as he wants a new challenge. It will be interesting to see where will the 29-year French central midfielder will end up at the end of this summer transfer window.

There is interest from so many clubs including his former club Juventus. The Serie A side is leading the race to sign him as per Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano. Fabrizio gave the news on Wednesday that Juventus is already working on a deal to bring back Paul Pogba to the club. Manchester United rivals City is also interested in the midfielder but the deal with Pep’s team seems unlikely as of now.
