Kohli achieved the feat at the age of 37 years and 207 days in IPL 2026. He has also become the second-oldest player to win the ‘Player of the Match’ award in an IPL final.

3. Faf du Plessis (CSK, 2021) – 37 years, 94 days

Faf du Plessis ranks third on the list of oldest players to win “Player of the match” in IPL final. Faf du Plessis was awarded the ‘Player of the Match’ in the 2021 IPL final while playing for the Chennai Super Kings. At that time, Faf was 37 years and 94 days old.
