Pakistan player Haris Sohail ruled out of England ODI due to hamstring injury

Haris Sohail had an MRI scan on Wednesday which showed three tear injuries. It looked like he picked up that injury during the training session in Derby last week. Just before the start of the series, the Pakistan team had to deal with a huge blow as the middle-order batsman Harris Sohail is ruled out of the upcoming three-match ODI series against England. Pakistan cricket confirmed the development through an official statement on Thursday.

Haris Sohail said, “I was keenly looking forward to the ODIs as a part of my objective to contribute to the side’s success and also cement my position in the side”. He also added that ” In this background, I am disappointed that my tour has been cut short, but I will return to Lahore and undergo a rehabilitation program so that I can fully recover for the 2021-2022 season”.

Haris Sohail the left-handed middle-order batsman to undergo a four-week rehabilitation program before the reassessment is being carried out. Haris Sohail who was named in the ODI squad of Pakistan, will now return to Pakistan and undergo a rehabilitation program at the National High-Performance center in Lahore.

The Pakistan team led by Babar Azam is set to face the host England in three ODI and three T20. It will begin on Thursday, after the tour of England Pakistan will travel to the West Indies on July 21 where they will play 5 T20 and two tests from July 27 to August 24.
