The Para-Badminton matches on Day 10 of Tokyo Paralympics 2020 have been so much thrilling and exciting to watch. As it was decided who will play in the knockout rounds. The players all have given their best and are an inspiration to everyone. So has the shuttler from India – Palak Kohli who is just 19 years old.

Palak Kohli, the teenager from Jalandhar, Punjab lost her quarter-finals match 11-21, 15-21 against Japan’s Kaede Kameyama at Court 1 of the Yoyogi National Stadium, as the match lasted for 25 minutes.
The Japanese shuttler was dominating from the very beginning as she was leading 11-4 at the first game interval. And Palak Kohli couldn’t do anything after that as Kaede Kameyama won 21-11 in 1st game.

It was the same situation in the 2nd game, even though there were few instances where Palak Kohli made comebacks but it couldn’t stop Kaede Kameyama from winning, taking a 2-0 lead and advancing into the semifinals. Kaede Kameyama will face her compatriot Ayako Suzuki in the semi-finals that are set to be played tomorrow.

Whereas, for the 19-year-old Indian, she will next play her Mixed Doubles SL3-SU5 Semi-final along with Pramod Bhagat – Tomorrow, 4th September 2021.
