Paris Marathon 2025: Tracking The Course, Schedule, Start Time

The city of Paris is set to host marathon runners once again, eight months after the Olympic Games. 

The Paris Marathon 2025 will take place on Sunday 13 April. Tens of thousands of runners will descend down the 42.195 km course which is grueling.

The participants in this year’s race will start from Champs-Élysées and try to reach the finish line on Avenue Foch.

The race will start and finish at the foot of the Arc de Triomphe. The runners will start on the Champs-Élysées with an aim to finish on Avenue Foch.

Runners will pass by various iconic landmarks along the route, including the Palais Garnier, the Louvre and the Eiffel Tower. The route will also pass through the Bois de Vincennes and the Bois de Boulogne. 

However, several minor tweaks have been made to the course this year, including a passage through the Place de la Nation and Lake Daumesnil.

There are eight aid stations approximately every 5k along the way, and a ninth at the finish. The locations of the aid stations during the race are:

  • 4.5 km on the left, rue de l’Amiral de Coligny
  • 10 km on the right, avenue Daumesnil
  • 15 km on the right, route de la Pyramide
  • 20 km on the right, avenue de Gravelle
  • 25 km on the left, boulevard Henri IV
  • 30.3 km on the right, voie Georges Pompidou
  • 35 km on the right, boulevard d’Auteuil
  • 38 km on the left, carrefour des Cascades
