They have won the league with 6 games remaining

Finally behind the wheel, Luis Enrique appears poised to lead PSG to new heights. PSG have been on fire this season as they have won the league with 6 games remaining and have also advanced into the Champions League quarter finals after defeating the table toppers of UCL, Liverpool.

At the final whistle the players danced in the center circle, and at the final whistle, coach Luis Enrique was flung into the air and surrounded by his staff.

“The fans are so proud of us and we gave them this title,” Luis Enrique said. “The club has so many achievements. The objectives are to play attractive soccer and to go and win trophies.”

They then went on a lap of honor and celebrated in front of their fans

They then went on a lap of honor and celebrated in front of their fans behind the Auteuil section of the stadium.

“Throughout the season, this team has shown something,” Luis Enrique said. “The fact that other soccer fans, who are not PSG fans, like our style of play is a huge honor for us.”

PSG can also secure a second straight domestic double under Spanish coach Luis Enrique by beating Reims in the French Cup final on May 24.

Ousmane Dembele, the top scorer in Ligue 1, entered the game in the second half but was unable to add to his league-high 21 goals.

“Our ambition is to win everything,” said captain Marquinhos, who now has 10 titles since joining the club in 2013.

“It’s a nice feeling. It is the reward for the work we have put in throughout the season, for our consistency, and the team deserves it,” added the Brazilian center-back.

PSG is now focusing on their Champions League quarterfinal

PSG now has three more French league titles than Saint-Étienne, who have ten but haven’t won since 1981. While Nantes and Monaco have each won eight championships, Marseille has won nine.

PSG is now focusing on their Champions League quarterfinal, with the league ceremonial trophy presentation scheduled for a later time. The return leg in England is scheduled on April 15 after the first game against Aston Villa on Wednesday at the Parc des Princes.
