The three wrestlers had been temporarily suspended for alleged during the Games. On Wednesday, the WFI confirmed that the players will be eligible for the World Championship. It is to be noted that Sonam, Divya, and Vinesh have been cautioned and reprimanded.

A letter was sent out to the three wrestlers. It clearly stated that despite the unsatisfactory behavior in the game, the WFI would like to give the players a second chance. The trio has been forgiven and warned for the same.
