Punjab Kings, led by Shreyas Iyer, are taking on Rishabh Pant’s Lucknow Super Giants on Sunday, May 4, at the HPCA Stadium in Dharamshala.
Punjab Kings have a strong team and are playing good cricket, but their record at home has been poor. After playing in Mullanpur, they now move to Dharamshala, where they’ve won only 5 out of 13 games. They’ve lost all four matches there since 2023, with their last win at the venue coming in 2013.
PBKS will look to improve that record against Lucknow Super Giants, especially after gaining confidence from their recent win over Chennai Super Kings. On the other hand, LSG’s form has dipped after a strong start. After winning three in a row, they’ve started to slip down the table. Their top order has struggled recently, and Nicholas Pooran’s form has dropped sharply-scoring just 55 runs in the last four games after a strong start to the season. LSG will need him to bounce back against PBKS.
