Former Arsenal forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is close to joining Chelsea FC this summer. Aubameyang is currently playing for FC Barcelona. La Liga side FC Barcelona have signed a new forward player this summer named Robert Lewandowski from Bayern Munich.
Since, Robert Lewandowski has arrived in the La Liga side (FC Barcelona), he has been in the starting XI. Aubameyang feels he won’t be getting much game time due to some new signings namely right-winger Raphinha, Robert Lewandowski and many more. FC Barcelona have done great business this summer and it seems they don’t want Aubameyang as they have lot of options in forward area.
Aubameyang is tempted by Chelsea’s offer as they need a new striker. Chelsea FC signed a world-class defender named Kalidou Koulibaly and star English forward Raheem Sterling. Chelsea are also close to completing a deal for Leicester’s defender Wesley Fofana.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has played in the Premier League before. He was amazing in the red shirt (Arsenal FC). He scored many goals for Arsenal and also won Emirates FA Cup and Community Shield trophy under Mikel Arteta (Arsenal FC manager).
