Puneri Paltan sealed their spot in the Pro Kabaddi League Season 12 final after a sensational 50–45 comeback victory over Telugu Titans at the Thyagaraj Indoor Stadium on Wednesday. The win marks Paltan’s third final appearance in four years, and they will now face Dabang Delhi K.C. in the title clash on Friday.
Puneri Paltan Into The Finals of PKL 12
In a high-scoring encounter dominated by raiders, Aditya Shinde (21 points) and Pankaj Mohite (10 points) powered Paltan’s charge with Super 10s. For the Titans, Bharat Hooda (22 points) and Vijay Malik (10 points) also completed Super 10s, but their efforts went in vain.
The Titans made a flying start, racing to a 10–1 lead after Hooda’s stunning Super Raid triggered the first All-Out of the game. However, Puneri Paltan clawed their way back with spirited raids from Mohite and strong defensive efforts from Mohd Amaan, reducing the deficit to 13–7 after ten minutes.
By halftime, Hooda had already completed his Super 10, helping the Titans stay ahead 24–20 despite a strong offensive push from Aditya and Pankaj.

Paltan began the second half in style, enforcing a second All-Out through Gaurav Khatri’s tackle. The momentum shifted dramatically as Shinde and Mohite completed their Super 10s to tie the scores at 33–33 heading into the final quarter.
Captain Aslam Inamdar, quiet for most of the match, produced a crucial tackle to inflict a third All-Out on the Titans- giving Paltan their first lead of the night. Moments later, Shinde’s four-point Super Raid sealed the game’s turning point, putting Paltan firmly in control.
With another All-Out in the dying minutes, Puneri Paltan pulled off a remarkable nine-point comeback, wrapping up a 50–45 win to advance to the grand final.
