Nottingham Forest Vs Manchester United: Predicted Lineups And Team Forms: Premier league is back and now there are 2 matchdays in a single week. Last week after the International break, the teams not in the FA Cup got some much needed rest and time to analyse their game plans. Ruben Amorim and Manchester United would have been thinking what could be the preferred lineup for the match after there are some names back on the squad sheets after recovering from injuries.
Nottingham Forest Form-
With just nine games to go, the end is in sight for Nottingham Forest in terms of Champions League qualification and judging by their performances of late they are thundering over the line.
There have been no wobbles. No signs of nerves.
It’s been so impressive with Murillo and Nikola Milenkovic at the heart of the defence leading the club to some special places. The brilliance of Sels between the posts. The intensity of Anderson and Dominguez and the creativity of Gibbs-White forming the perfect midfield. The pace and tekkers of Elanga and Hudson-Odoi and the ever-towering presence of Chris Wood. This team has been a unit in defence and attack.
Forest showed what they were all about in their gritty FA Cup win over Brighton. The outstanding work of Murillo and Milenkovic during the 120 minutes where defences were on top provided the bedrock of Forest’s win. That was clean sheet number 14 for the season across all competitions for the pairing.
Forest are such a difficult side to score against, especially at the City Ground where they’ve shipped just 10 goals in their 14 Premier League home matches this season – that’s the best home record of any team. They’ve kept seven clean sheets during that run, too, winning to nil against Man City, Brighton, Tottenham, Ipswich, West Ham and Crystal Palace.

Manchester United Form-
United are still down in 13th in the Premier League table, 12 points off the top four and a massive 33 points adrift of leaders and arch-rivals Liverpool. However, the Red Devils did beat Leicester 3-0 before the international break, extending their unbeaten run to seven matches across all competitions, discounting penalty shootouts.
Patrick Dorgu returns from suspension, but Amorim may opt to stick with Noussair Mazraoui and Diogo Dalot on the flanks after a strong performance against Leicester.
Bruno Fernandes has been in red hot form as he has scored three goals and assisted three in his last four Premier League appearances.
Fulham and Newcastle are the two teams that have gone to the City Ground and left with three points, so victory this evening would be a borderline statement for 13th-placed United.
