PMGO 2025 Qualifiers: Battle For Tashkent Begins

The battle is heating up! Round 2 of the PUBG Mobile Global Open (PMGO) 2025 Open Qualifiers is just around the corner. From February 20 to 23, teams from across the globe will fight for a spot in the next stage. Only the top 16 squads will advance to the Regional Qualifier finals.

PMGO 2025: The Ultimate Battle for Glory

With a massive $500,000 prize pool, PMGO 2025 is one of the biggest PUBG Mobile tournaments of the year. This marks the second edition of the Global Open, bringing together top talent from every region.

Round 2 Format and Schedule

The Open Qualifiers feature teams from five major regions:

  • Asia
  • Europe
  • Middle East
  • North America
  • South America

Here’s the breakdown:

  • 128 teams from each region have made it from Round 1.
  • 500 additional teams from Ultimate Royale Seasons C7S20 & C7S21 are joining the battle.
  • That brings the total to 628 teams per region competing in 12 matches over 4 days.
  • Only 16 teams per region will move forward. The rest? Eliminated.

Daily Match Schedule (UTC +5.5)

  • Match 1: Erangel – 17:30
  • Match 2: Miramar – 18:30
  • Match 3: Sanhok – 19:30

Round 1 results are live on the official PUBG Mobile Esports website. However, not everyone made it fair and square.

  • 23 teams were disqualified for rule violations.
  • 36 players got suspended for breaking the rules.

Path to the PMGO 2025 Prelims and Main Event

Only the best make it through. After the Regional Qualifier Finals, teams will fight for a ticket to the Prelims Stage. Here’s how many teams qualify per region:

  • Asia & Uzbekistan: 4 spots each
  • Middle East & Europe: 3 spots each
  • North America & South America: 1 spot each

A total of 16 teams will compete in the preliminary. But only 7 will make it to the main event. There, they will join 8 directly invited teams to fight for the ultimate PMGO 2025 title.

Uzbekistan Hosts Its First Major PUBG Mobile Tournament

Big news! For the first time ever, Uzbekistan will host a major PUBG Mobile tournament. The online qualifiers kick off in March 2025, leading up to the preliminary and main event in Tashkent.
