The tournament will run from June 2 to June 7, 2026. A total of 32 teams will compete on the global stage. These teams will come from different regions across the world, including Southeast Asia, South Asia, the Middle East, Europe, Africa, and the Americas.

PMGO 2026 Season 1 Slot Distribution

Here is how the 32 slots have been divided among the regions:

  • Southeast Asia (SEA): 5 slots
  • South Asia (SA): 3 slots
  • Eastern Europe and Central Asia (EECA): 4 slots
  • Middle East and North Africa (MENA): 6 slots
  • Turkey (TR): 5 slots
  • Western Europe (WEU): 2 slots
  • Americas: 4 slots
  • Africa: 1 slot
  • Host Country: 2 slots

This confirms that some of the biggest PUBG Mobile regions, including India, Korea, Japan, and China, will not be part of the PMGO 2026 Season 1 main event.

Why Fans Expected India to Be Included

Indian teams returned to global PUBG Mobile action at PMGC 2025 in Thailand. That event marked India’s first appearance on the world stage after almost three years. Teams like True Rippers and Orangutan represented the country and helped bring strong viewership numbers.

Even though the teams did not make a deep run in the tournament, the fan support and online engagement were high. Because of this, many fans believed India would earn a spot at PMGO 2026 Season 1. The official slot list, however, has confirmed that India will miss out this time.

PMGO 2026 Season 1 Location Update

PUBG Mobile Esports has confirmed that the event will be hosted in the Southeast Asia region. The exact city and venue have not been revealed yet.

More information about the final location, qualified teams, and live broadcast details is expected to be shared closer to the event dates.

What to Expect Next

With teams from many different regions coming together, PMGO 2026 Season 1 is shaping up to be a competitive and exciting event. Fans can look forward to intense matches, new rivalries, and surprise performances as the world’s best teams fight for the top spot in June.
