Prague Masters is ongoing, and we are halfway to the final round. The tournament features nine rounds, and the fifth round took place on 2 March 2025.
The tournament is being held at the Don Giovanni in Prague, and Day 5 was filled with excitement as two young Indian chess prodigies, Aravindh and Praggnanandhaa faced each other for a thrilling match.

Prague Masters Day 5: Winners, Losers, and Highlights
Day 5 marked the least decisive round of the tournament until now after round 2, with only one win and four draws. Wei Yi secured the only win against Sam Shankland, which resulted in a dramatic shift of him being at the last position after leading the points table at number 3.
Another much-anticipated match between Aravindh and Praggnanandhaa resulted in a draw with no change in their positions on the leaderboards. Vincent Keymer also took his chance at redemption and reached the third position after being at the fourth after the previous round.
