Prague Masters is being held at the Don Giovanni Hotel in Prague, and Day 6 was filled with anticipation. However, it ended up disappointing fans it was the least decisive round of the tournament till now with zero wins. Prague Masters Day 6: Winners, Losers, and Highlights
The pairings for round 6 of the tournament featured some notable pairings like Wei Yi vs Ediz Gurel, Vincent Keymer vs Anish Giri, Aravindh Chithambaram vs Le Queng Liam and the most-awaited game of the Prague Masters, Sam Shankland vs Praggnanandhaa R.
Despite the intensity of the Sam vs Pragg game, it ultimately ended in a draw. This gave Pragg the advantage of being at the top, sharing the position with his fellow countryman, Aravindh Chitbambaram. Sam Shankland started off on a good note and reached a tournament-high ranking of 1st position on the leaderboards, though now he sits at the 7th position with 2.5 points.
In Wei Yi vs Ediz Gurel, the latter came closer to a win and outplayed Wei Yi with place however, Wei managed to escape, and the game resulted in a draw. Vincent Keymer introduced a new idea in the opening but was unable to implement it while Anish Giri handled the situation pretty well and the game ended in a draw.
