Premier League Darts 2026 is an ongoing professional darts tournament organised by the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC). This is the 22nd edition of competition which began on 5 February 2026 at the Newcastle Arena in Newcastle upon Tyne and will end with the play-offs at the O2 Arena in London on 28 May 2026.
he eight-player tournament begins with a 16-week league stage. Following the league stage, the top four players will compete in the play-offs. The 2026 edition marked the introduction of Belgium to the schedule, with a night in Antwerp being included for the first time.
Gian van Veen and Josh Rock are making their Premier League debuts. Luke Humphries entered the tournament as the defending champion, having defeated Luke Littler 11–8 in the 2025 final.
Matches take place every Thursday until Finals Night on May 28. Every fixture during the league season is best-of-11 legs and the winner of each night earns five points, with the runner-up earning three points and the two losing semi-finalists picking up two points.
The top four players in the season-long Premier League table at the end of Night 16 in Sheffield will progress to the Play-Offs and Finals Night in London on May 28.
Premier League Darts 2026: Prize Money Breakdown
The tournament carries a total prize pot of £1,250,000. Notably, this year te champion’s prize has seen an increase of £75,000 compared to last year’s winnings of £275,000.
The winner of each night walks away with a bonus of £10,000.
The pot is then split based on the final positions in the league table.
