Deadline day is fast approaching as the summer transfer window for Premier League clubs closes at 11pm on August 30. While just two days remain for the summer transfer window to shut, businesses are far from over.
Premier League clubs have already spent an estimated £1.5 billion on new talent this summer, with a significant share of that expenditure coming from Chelsea, who have purchased 13 players. Plenty of negotiation are still expected in the final hours of the transfer window.
While several Premier League clubs are still working on their plans to add more talents on their side, here are potential players who could move by the end of the deadline day of summer transfer window:
Ivan Toney- Brentford
Ivan Toney has just a year remaining on his contract with Brentford and the management would like to see him off before losing him for nothing. While Saudi Pro League team Al Ahli have made a lucrative offer to Toney, it does not match Brentford’s asking price of £50 million.
The striker did not appear in Brentford’s first two games of this season in the Premier League. It seems he is getting ready to move from the club.
Raheem Sterling- Chelsea
Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has admitted that Sterling is unlikely to feature for the team this season. His possible exit from Stamford Bridge gathered momentum after he was dropped from the club’s Premier League’s season’s opening match against Manchester City.
Sterling is keen to leave the club on a permanent basis and wants a final solution to his exit after not featuring in Maresca’s plans. Clubs such as Aston Villa, Crystal Palace and Juventus have shown interest in the midfielder.
Ben Chilwell- Chelsea
As in the case of Sterling, Ben Chilwell, too, does not feature in Maresca’s plan for Chelsea. The club may be willing to allow him to leave on loan after falling out of favour in the Blues’ camp. He has been absent from Chelsea’s every match this season.
However, Chilwell’s salary of £200,000 per week and poor injury record might hamper his transfer.

Jadon Sancho- Manchester United
The fallout between Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho and manager Erik ten Hag made it to the headlines last season. The rift followed Sancho’s loan out to German club Borussia Dortmund.
Although Sancho was restored in United first-team on his return from Dortmund, Old Trafford is looking to offload him. After his impressive run at Dortmund, Juventus, Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea have shown interest in him.
