The Haryana Steelers are a professional Kabaddi team based in the state of Haryana, India. The team is one of the twelve teams that compete in the Pro Kabaddi League, the top-tier kabaddi competition in India.
The team is owned by JSW Group, a conglomerate based in Mumbai. The team is currently coached by Rakesh Kumar, a former Indian national kabaddi team captain, and captained by Surender Nada.
The Haryana Steelers made their debut in the inaugural edition of the Pro Kabaddi League in 2014. In their first season, the team finished at the bottom of the table with just two wins from 12 matches.
However, the team improved drastically in the next season, finishing second in the league with 10 wins from 14 matches. The team qualified for the playoffs for the first time in their history but lost to eventual champions U Mumba in the semi-finals.
