Pro Kabaddi League Season 12: Players Who Joined Elite ₹2 Crore Club

The Pro Kabaddi League Season 12 is set to get rolling as squads of the 12 franchises have been confirmed. More than 500 players went under the hammer during the auction held in Mumbai on May 31 and June 1.

The Pro Kabaddi League  2025 auction was categorized into four groups based on their base prices and roles – Category A, B, C & D.

– Category A players had a base price of INR 30 lakh

– Category B players had a base price of INR 20 lakh

– Category C had a base price of INR 13 lakh

– Category D featured players with a base price of INR INR 9 lakh

Pro Kabaddi League Season 12: Players who touched ₹2 crore mark

Two players earned over ₹2 crore at the PKL 2025 auction.

1. Mohammadreza Shadloui – ₹2.23 Cr (Gujarat Giants)

All-rounder Mohammadreza Shadloui Chiyaneh became the most expensive player of the season after being bought by Gujarat Giants for ₹2.23 crore. 

The Iranian all-rounder, known for being a game-changer on the mat, attracted bids from multiple teams, including Bengaluru Bulls and Patna Pirates. Gujarat, however, had the final say and made him the most expensive player in PKL 12.

2. Devank Dalal – ₹2.205 Cr (Bengal Warriorz)

Devank Dalal, last season’s breakout raider, turned into the highest-paid Indian player of the PKL 12 auction. Bengal Warriorz coughed up ₹2.205 Cr to acquire him after an intense battle with Puneri Paltan and Telugu Titans. He became the second-most expensive player in the auction.
