UEFA Champions League: PSG, Ajax, Dortmund, AC Milan look forward to either cement or resusicate their campaigns in the 3rd matchday of the tournament
Neymar will be out for the game against Leipzig with an injury to the adductor as the team looks to confirm their spot in the knockout rounds.
PSG vs RB Leipzig
PSG will take on the Bundesliga team RB Leipzig in their third matchday of the UEFA Champions League. The match will take place at the Parc des Princes.
Neymar Jr will miss the clash against Leipzig after suffering an injury to the adductor during the international break with Brazil. Likewise, the Argentine midfielder Leandro Paredes will also miss the match with a quadriceps problem. PSG are without the suspended Angel di Maria as well as the unfit Sergio Ramos for the meeting with the Germans.
However, Messi and Mbappe are expected to start the match alongside Icardi or Rafinha up top.
This is a must-win tie for RB Leipzig who is currently sitting in the last spot after losing to Manchester City and Club Brugge.
Ajax vs Borussia Dortmund
Borussia Dortmund will have to face an Ajax who have been on rampage mode all season. The Amsterdam-based side has already scored seven goals in their two Champions League matches meanwhile, conceding just a single goal. Ajax has scored 32 goals in the domestic league in just 9 matches.
Dortmund comes into the game with a reassuring win over Mainz in the league on Saturday. Erling Haaland once again scored a brace to help his side to a 3-1 win.
Marco Rose will hope Haaland will continue his electric form against the four-time European champions.
Porto vs AC Milan
AC Milan makes the trip to Portugal hoping to secure their first win of the Champions League group stages and to keep their knockout round hopes alive against Porto.
They lost their matches against Atletico Madrid and Liverpool. Meanwhile, Porto lost against Liverpool but took a draw out of the La Liga champions in their match.
AC Milan will be without Frank Kessie through suspension and will miss the electric Croatian Ante Rebic on the wing. Pioli will be happy that Tiemoue Bakayoko has returned to training with the squad. Meanwhile, Chancel Mbemba is expected to miss out for Porto.
