PSG have to get up and move on from their Champions League disappointment as they take on Bordeaux at the Parc des Princes on Sunday.
PSG squandered a 2-0 lead in the last 30 minutes of their Round of 16 tie against Real Madrid to crash out of the Champions League in midweek. Kylian Mbappe extended PSG’s lead in the tie to 2-0 in the 39th minute of the game. It appeared like Mauricio Pochettino’s men had the tie sealed but Karim Benzema had other plans.
The Frenchman produced a complete blitzkrieg of an onslaught inside the final 30 minutes of the game. He scored a hat-trick to help Real Madrid overcome the odds to win the tie 3-2. The Champions League is the one title that PSG have been running after with all their heart and the consequence has obviously brought in a sense of gloom all around Paris.
