PSL 2025 Schedule: Dates, Teams And How To Watch

The Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2025 is ready to begin on April 11 and will go on till May 18. This time, the tournament was pushed a little later to make space for the Champions Trophy 2025, which was also held in Pakistan.

All six popular teams Islamabad United, Karachi Kings, Lahore Qalandars, Multan Sultans, Peshawar Zalmi, and Quetta Gladiators will take part in this exciting T20 league. Each team is packed with talented players and star captains like:

• Shadab Khan (Islamabad)

• David Warner (Karachi)

• Shaheen Afridi (Lahore)

• Mohammad Rizwan (Multan)

• Babar Azam (Peshawar)

• Saud Shakeel (Quetta)

Islamabad United will step in as the defending champions, having lifted the trophy in 2024. Last season, Babar Azam was the highest run-scorer with 569 runs, and Usama Mir took the most wickets with 24 scalps.

Tournament Format and Match Schedule

The league will follow a double round-robin format. That means each team will play every other team twice once at home and once away.

Here’s how the playoffs will work:

• The top two teams will face off in the Qualifier.
• The teams ranked third and fourth will play Eliminator 1.
• The loser of the Qualifier will get another chance in Eliminator 2, where they will face the winner of Eliminator 1.
• The winner of Qualifier and winner of Eliminator 2 will then battle it out in the Final.

In total, 34 matches will be played across four cities:

• Rawalpindi
• Karachi
• Lahore
• Multan

Rawalpindi will host the Qualifier, while Lahore will take care of the remaining playoff matches, including the big final.
