PUBG Mobile 3.9 Update Guide: Tips And Secret Tricks

1. Understanding the Neon Outpost

Best Landing Distance: 750 Meters

When you jump from the plane, mark your landing point about 750 meters away. This helps you land faster and get loot before enemies. Check the mini-map for the distance and glide straight down when close.

The Best Loot Spot

Land at the front side of the Neon Outpost and quickly enter the first floor. This place usually has strong weapons, armor, and healing items. Landing here first means you can fight early and control the area.

Shooting Through Corners

Some corners in the Neon Outpost let you shoot through walls. Stand near the edge, jump slightly, and fire. Enemies will think they are safe, but you can hit them easily.

Attacking from Above with Hoverboard

Use the Hoverboard to reach higher spots and attack from above. Enemies mostly watch doors and stairs, so surprise them by flying in from the roof or upper floors.

2. Using Transformers Smartly

Watch Out for Explosions

When you use Optimus Prime or Megatron, keep an eye on their health bar. If it is very low, get out fast. If the Transformer explodes while you are inside, it will knock you out.

Megatron: Best for Long Range

Megatron’s main gun can hit enemies far away. This is great for open areas and safe fighting distance.

Optimus Prime: Best for Close Fights

Optimus Prime is very strong in close range. Jumping or stomping on enemies deals big damage. Use it in buildings or small spaces.

3. Mastering the Hoverboard

Avoid Bad Exits

If you get off the Hoverboard in front of enemies, you will be stuck in the exit animation and cannot shoot. Exit only when safe or behind cover.

Use Boost and Shield for Escape

The Hoverboard’s boost is best for running away or moving to a better position. The shield is weak if enemies are too close, so use it mainly to block damage while escaping.

Set Up Controls

If you can’t find the Hoverboard button, go to Settings- Themed Items. Add the button to a comfortable place on your screen so you can use it quickly.

4. New Update Changes You Must Know

Glider Removed: Parachute is Back

The glider is gone. Now you use the classic parachute for all high jumps. You can also switch to the Hoverboard mid-air to avoid fall damage.

Barrel Extenders for Extra Damage

Barrel Extenders can be found in loot boxes or bought from the Market Shop. They work on SMGs, ARs, and Snipers, increasing damage and making kills faster, even against Level 3 armor.
