The PUBG Mobile 4.1 update is now live, and it brings several changes that players have been waiting for. This update focuses mainly on improving the Classic Mode experience. From weapon balance to new map features, the update aims to make matches feel more fair and realistic.

Along with these core changes, the winter-themed event will also arrive soon, introducing a new hotspot location, special vehicles, and limited-time items. But before that event goes live, here is a clear look at what has changed in Classic Mode.

Weapon Adjustments for Better Balance

PUBG Mobile 4.1 Update: Loot Trucks Are Live! ARs Nerfed, Famas Buff
PUBG Mobile 4.1 Update

PUBG Mobile has adjusted how assault rifles and rifles behave in long-distance fights. Their damage now decreases with distance, which makes close and mid-range battles more meaningful. Bullet travel speed has also been changed so that long-range shots feel more realistic.

The Famas, a weapon that was rarely picked by players, has received a major improvement. Now you can attach mini drum mags and extended quickdraw magazines to it. This may help the gun become a more common choice.

Shotguns have also been nerfed. Their damage has been reduced so that close-range fights feel more balanced. However, weapons like DBS can still be strong in close combat if used carefully. DMR weapons such as MK14 and SKS have also become more stable, making them easier to control.

Loot Trucks Added to Maps

A new feature called Loot Trucks has been added. These trucks move through certain areas of the map. Players can shoot the trucks to make them drop special loot crates. If you destroy the truck completely, you can access extra loot stored inside it. However, getting too close to the truck is dangerous because it can knock you down while it is in motion.

There is also a new option to pick up enemy loot crates and move them to safer places. This helps avoid getting eliminated while looting in open areas.

New Boatyard Location and Other Map Changes

The old Sunken Village has been redesigned into a new location called Boatyard. It now looks like a dock area and has loot similar to other major drop spots. This may become a popular landing point for many players.

Berries, which were earlier only in Livik, are now available in Erangel as well. Eating berries gives a small healing boost over time.

Another change is the introduction of vouchers. Players may find advanced firearm vouchers around the map, which can be used to buy special weapons from the shop. When a player is recalled, they will receive a respawn voucher that lets them pick a weapon pack to get started again.

Improved Game Feel and User Settings

The aiming system has been improved so the crosshair is more accurate when firing without aiming down sights. Players can now change how the crosshair looks and choose different colors.

Reloading status is now easier to track. Instead of looking at the bottom of the screen, players can see the reload progress in the weapon slot. There is also a new sound feature that tells you when your gun is running low on ammo.

Additionally, players can turn on visual and sound indicators to understand where enemy shots are coming from.
