The PUBG Mobile 4.2 update beta has introduced many fresh features, giving players a clear idea of what is coming next. From Metro Royale upgrades to smart tools for creators and balance changes in Classic Mode, this update focuses on gameplay depth, creativity, and smoother movement.
PUBG Mobile 4.2 Update Beta: New Glacix Arbiter And AI Tools
Metro Royale Gets a Powerful New Weapon
The biggest highlight in Metro Royale is the new Glacix Arbiter. This is a Fabled melee weapon with a special ability. It has a chance to defeat PvE enemies and bandits in just one hit, making it extremely valuable during fights.
This weapon is only available in Chapter 30. Players can get it by defeating zombie-type enemies or powerful map bosses. Once you collect it, the Glacix Arbiter stays in your inventory even after the season ends. It also does not drop when you get eliminated, which makes it even more special.
Vine Crates and New Sellable Items Added
Players can now find Vine Crates while exploring the map. These crates appear randomly and may contain rare and high-value items. Many of these items can be sold for good rewards, making exploration more rewarding.
A new Fabled sellable item called the Military Drone has also been added. This item can appear in all types of crates, along with several new collectibles that increase the value of loot runs.
World of Wonder Gets Smarter With AI Tools
The World of Wonder mode has received a major update with an improved AI Smart Assistant. Creators can now upload videos and automatically turn them into skeletal animations. This helps in creating custom skills and unique visual effects with less effort.
Another new feature allows creators to generate 3D grouped objects using only text descriptions. This makes map design faster and more creative. The assistant also now supports floating windows, adjustable interface size, and map edit history that is saved for up to seven days.
Weapon Balance and Movement Improvements
Classic Mode gameplay has been slightly adjusted to feel smoother and more balanced. Climbing through windows now feels more fluid, helping players move faster during fights.
Several weapons have received small damage boosts. The AKM, M762, ACE32, Honey Badger, and Mk47 now deal two extra damage points. The Groza has received a one-point damage increase.
At the same time, shotguns like the S686, S1897, NS2000, S12K, DBS, and M1014 now deal slightly less base damage. Their bullet spread is also a bit more random, reducing their close-range dominance.
New Features Added to Home Mode
Home Mode now includes a feature called Fated Connection. Once players form this connection, they can host a Fated Ceremony with their in-game partner. This adds more social interaction and new ways to engage inside the Home system.
