What’s New in PUBG Mobile KR 4.2 Update
The Primewood Genesis theme completely changes the feel of Erangel. Large World Trees now appear in key areas like Pochinki and Yasnaya Polyana, turning them into high-risk, high-reward zones. Corrupted plants spread across the map, offering cover but also creating danger during fights.
Players can take part in special purification missions by clearing corrupted areas. Completing these missions rewards squads with better loot, encouraging team play and smart rotations.
Metro Royale Chapter 30 also arrives with this update. A new melee weapon, Glacix Arbiter, allows players to deal massive damage to zombies, making PvE runs faster and more rewarding. Assault rifles like the AKM and M762 have received buffs, while several shotguns have been slightly nerfed to keep close-range fights balanced.
Another big addition is the AI companion Barkle. This helper can appear in multiple locations and provides useful information during matches, which can be very helpful in competitive scrims and ranked games.
Quality of Life Improvements
Along with new content, the update improves core gameplay. Prone movement feels smoother, gyroscope controls have been refined, and overall performance has been optimized. These changes help KR and JP players adapt to the new meta early and gain an edge before the update reaches global servers.
With fresh content, balanced weapons, and smoother mechanics, the PUBG Mobile KR 4.2 update sets the tone for what global players can expect very soon.
