Leading into the fourth T20 of the 5 match T20 series between West Indies and South Africa. It will be a must-win game for the West Indies to keep the series alive. The South Africans will be looking to win this match and win the series. We could see in the first T20 and the Second T20 had contrasting results. The 3rd T20 resulted in an absolute thriller, with South Africa beating West Indies by just one run.

For the first time in the series, South Africa won the toss and decided to bowl. Apart from Lendi Simmons who has scored 47(35) balls. no other top-order batsman namely Evin Lewis, Chris Gayle, and Shimron Hetmyer cross the double-digit mark. Jut when wicket of Nicholas Pooran wicket fell, Nicholas Pooran got a good start to his innings but lost his wicket to mystery spinner Shamsi. Shamsi is the most impressive spinner in this whole T20 series.

The West Indies in limited over format or especially T20 format, the team comprises of many all-rounders in the side. Captain Kieron Pollard itself is an all-rounder and leads by an example to it. Just when West Indies desperately needed a captain’s knock Kieron Pollard provides them with one, by scoring a half-century with a strike rate of over 200.

Also, with the firework of Fabian Allen at the end of the innings, West Indies help themselves to post a total of 167/6. Even though this is10-12 runs below the par total. But with some good bowling, this score can win you a game. And this is what exactly happened apart from Quinton De Kock who scored a half-century, there was not much help from another top-order batsman. Markram Kock of 20(20) looked less impactful in the context of the game and chase.

With West Indies bowler constantly chipping away wickets at one end South Africa never felt they were in the game throughout the innings. DJ Bravo was the most impressive bowler for the West Indies in today’s match with bowling figures of 4-19.
