Falcao scored twice away from home against Manchester City in the Quarter-finals of the Champions League. As a result, the French side reached the semi-finals of the Champions League, where they were beaten by the eventual runners-up Juventus.

In total, Falcao scored 83 goals in 140 appearances for Monaco.

He later joined Turkish giants Galatasaray after the end of the 2018/19 season.
