Rahul Dravid is one of India’s greatest cricketers and has won many awards for his outstanding career. He received the Arjuna Award in 1998, Padma Shri in 2004, and Padma Bhushan in 2013, all top national honours. Dravid was named Wisden Cricketer of the Year (2000) and won ICC Cricketer of the Year and ICC Test Player of the Year in 2004.

Rahul Dravid: Coaching Career
Rahul Dravid, the famous former Indian cricketer, became a cricket coach after retiring. He started as a mentor for the Rajasthan Royals in the IPL and helped them finish third. In 2015, he became head coach of India’s Under‑19 and India A teams, helping the U‑19 team reach the 2016 World Cup final and win the 2018 Under‑19 World Cup.
Later, he became Head of Cricket at the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru. In 2021 he was appointed head coach of the Indian national team and led India to win the 2024 ICC T20 World Cup.
