Twenty20 establishment cricket team that plays in the Bangladesh Chief Association under the name Rangpur Riders (BPL T20). Rangpur, Bangladesh, serves as the home city for this franchise team, which competes in the Rangpur Division. Rangpur Riders were the Rangpur franchise’s first appearance in the Bangladesh Premier League in 2013. They decided to change the name to Rangpur Rangers for the 2019 season. However, beginning with the upcoming season, the Rangpur Riders will be the sole name of the team. Shoaib Malik, a renowned Pakistani all-rounder, has been named Rangpur Riders’ captain. Sohel Islam, currently the spin-bowling coach for the Bangladesh men’s squad, has been hired as the head coach for Rangpur Riders. The Rangpur Riders won the BPL in 2017. The team includes some of the best players worldwide and those from the home country.

The records for the team are now available, showing that they won the championship in 2017. They competed in league play during the 2013,2016 and 2019-2020 seasons. The team qualified for the playoffs in 2015 and 2019 due to their performance in the tournament.

Rangpur Riders Achievements:
- In 2019, the Rangpur Riders scored the most runs in the BPL’s history. It was in Chattogram Stadium, and the opponent was the Chittagong Vikings. The 239 runs scored by Rangpur in their first innings are the greatest by any team in the BPL. For the first time in the BPL, two different batters scored a century in the same inning.
- In 2017, Rangpur Riders achieved their best-ever record of points. It happened in the championship game in Mirpur when they faced the Dhaka Dynamites. The first innings score for Rangpur was a magnificent 206/1.
- Sylhet Thunder came up against Rangpur Riders. During the 32nd game of the 2020 campaign, it happened in Sylhet. In 20 overs, Rangpur as a team scored 199/5. It was a rocky start for Sylhet. As a result, they lost 38 runs after being dismissed for 161 runs in 19.1 overs.
