RCB Full Squad, IPL 2026: Venkatesh Iyer will play for the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in IPL 2026 after he was bought by the defending champions for Rs 7 crore during the mini-auction in Abu Dhabi. The bidding saw plenty of action early on, with LSG and Gujarat Titans making the first moves before RCB and KKR entered the contest. RCB eventually landed the deal after KKR pulled out once the bidding reached Rs 6.80 crore.
The move brings Venkatesh back together with his Madhya Pradesh teammate and RCB captain Rajat Patidar, adding more balance and familiarity to the squad.

RCB Full Squad, IPL 2026: Champions Build on a Historic Season
RCB come into the new season full of confidence after lifting their first-ever IPL title earlier this year. They beat the Punjab Kings (PBKS) in the final at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad to create history.
The franchise has retained its core players, including iconic batter Virat Kohli and reliable middle-order mainstay Rajat Patidar. Alongside keeping their biggest names, RCB have also focused on adding depth to their bowling unit and strengthening their all-round options ahead of IPL 2026.

RCB further bolstered their bowling resources by acquiring New Zealand fast bowler Jacob Duffy at his base price of Rs 2 crore. His addition gives the team another quality pace option as they look to defend their title.
