Virat Kohli’s RCB faces David Warner’s SRH on the sixth day of IPL 2021, both teams have been consistently delivering good performance in IPL. RCB have opened the season with a spectacular win against Mumbai, while SRH had a slow start as they lost against Kolkata, but it comes down to the wire when these two go face to face in the match.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru, captained by the young and energetic Virat Kohli, RCB has always set a fast pace tone for its matches, with impressive young talents like Devdutt Padikkal, Washington Sundar, Glen Maxwell, and Harshal Patel, RCB plans to continue the momentum from their first match with added emphasis to batting and fielding. With explosive batsmen like Devdutt Padikkal opening for them, Kohli plans to set up a solid entry score for the team. Harshal Patel’s impressive performance in the first match against Mumbai seemed to be the tip of the iceberg as this young man seems to be on a hunt for wickets. Glen Maxwell’s explosive batting display is yet to be seen, Virat Kohli and Washington Sundar have also been providing good support for the team.

Sunrisers Hyderabad, led by Australian David Warner, SRH is known for its destructive batting and penetrating bowling attack, with the captain himself being one of their hard hitters, Kane Williamson, Jason Roy, and Manish Pandey also provide solid support to the batting order. SRH’s talent pool also includes experienced bowlers like Bhuvneshwar Kumar, spinner Rashid Khan and Sandeep Sharma who can make it really difficult for batsmen to score against them. Young batsmen, Priyam Garg and Abdul Samad also seem to be in good form for the season.

Virat’s battle with Bhuvneshwar Kumar will be the one to witness, as Virat will initiate his attack to Bhuvneshwar’s bowling but the IPL wicket specialist with 137 wickets in 122 matches at a strike rate of 19.86 and economy rate of 7.27 is a master at restricting batsmen from scoring, Bhuvneshwar will test a number of spells on Kohli with slower deliveries, dippers, in-swingers to see which holds him down.

Rashid Khan’s battle with AB de Villiers is yet another face-off in today’s match which will potentially determine the outcome of the middle overs, ABD knew as the greatest middle overs batsmen in the history of IPL with a stunning record for RCB with the strike rate of 159.31 faces off against Leg break genius Rashid Khan who is known for his phenomenal wicket-taking ability in crucial overs for Hyderabad.

Yet another possible battle would David Warner against Washington Sundar, considering Warner’s destructive batting abilities and his ability to score heavily in the top order for the team, this could be tested today with Washington Sundar as it poses a new challenge for Warner to hit Sundar big during the powerplay while risking his wicket.
