Real Madrid Plan To Sign Arsenal Star Defender William Saliba
Real Madrid are prepared to take a long-term approach to their pursuit of Arsenal centre-back William Saliba, a report has revealed.
Real Madrid and Arsenal have been in the news already this week after the high voltage clash during the midweek matchup between the two titans in the Champions league quarter-finals 1st leg.
Arsenal have beaten the Los Blancos by 3-0
Arsenal may have beaten the Los Blancos by 3-0 in the match with the help of two beautiful free kicks by Declan Rice but the Spanish giants have now launched serious campaigns to draw and lure Arsenal star defender, William Saliba to solidify their defence and also be a signing for the future.

Madrid’s interest in Saliba is by no means new but signing the Frenchman is not going to be an easy task, with Arsenal prepared to demand a world-record fee to part ways with their defensive talisman this summer.
A summer move is highly unlikely. Saliba is under contract until 2027, and Arsenal will probably pursue a renewal before the 25/26 season. It is believed Madrid will make a bid in 2026, or will pursue a free transfer if the centre back doesn’t put pen to paper in North London.
Real Madrid have already conceded 64 goals this term
Real Madrid have already conceded 64 goals this term, 14 more than they conceded in the entirety of the 23/24 season. Los Blancos have been linked with other options at centre half, including Jonathan Tah, who will leave Leverkusen on a free this summer, and promising youngster Dean Huijsen. The Bournemouth star is a diehard Real Madrid fan.

Dani Carvajal and Eder Militao remain unlikely to feature again this season, with Antonio Rudiger shouldering a heavy game load, alongside the impressive rise of Raul Asencio.
Alternatively, they could also wait it out until 2027
The 23-year-old is currently valued at around €80m, and that is not a figure Real Madrid will pay, as they move towards a policy of bringing him players as free agents on huge salaries.
As per reports from The Athletic, Real Madrid are considering two avenues, including a reduced offer next summer to try and pressure Arsenal into selling to avoid him possibly leaving on a free transfer.
Alternatively, they could also wait it out until 2027, and make a free transfer move similar to the one on the table for Alexander-Arnold.
