For South Africa, skipper Laura Wolvaardt fought valiantly with a stunning 101 off 98 balls, but India’s brilliance on the night was just too much. Deepti Sharma stood out with an all-round masterclass, scoring 55 runs and taking 5 wickets for 39. - 434 – Smriti Mandhana broke Mithali Raj’s record for the most runs scored by an Indian in a single World Cup edition. Mithali had 409 runs in 2017.
- 339 – India pulled off the highest successful chase in women’s ODI history against Australia in the semifinal. This was also the first time a 300 plus chase was completed in an ODI World Cup knockout across both men’s and women’s cricket.
- 15 – India ended Australia’s incredible 15 match unbeaten streak in World Cups, handing them their first defeat since the 2017 semifinal.
- 167 – Jemimah Rodrigues and Harmanpreet Kaur put up the highest partnership for any wicket against Australia in a World Cup and the third highest in any ODI World Cup knockout.
- 2nd – Smriti Mandhana became the second Indian to score 1000 runs against Australia in women’s ODIs, reaching the mark faster than anyone else in 21 innings.
- 176 – Smriti Mandhana and Pratika Rawal recorded India’s highest ever partnership in Women’s World Cup history, surpassing the previous 184 run stand between Smriti and Harmanpreet in 2022.
- 5000 runs – Smriti Mandhana crossed 5000 runs in ODIs, becoming the youngest and fastest Indian woman to reach the milestone.
- 1000 plus – Smriti also became the first player ever to score over 1000 runs in a calendar year in women’s ODIs.
- 155 – The 155 run opening stand between Smriti and Pratika against Australia was the highest by any team against the Aussies in ODI history.
- 94 – Richa Ghosh’s 94 against South Africa set a record for the highest score by a batter at No. 8 or lower in women’s ODIs and the best by an Indian wicketkeeper in World Cups.
- 88 – Richa and Sneh Rana’s 88 run stand for the 8th wicket was India’s highest for that position and joint third highest ever in women’s ODIs.
- 149 – India’s 149 runs after the fall of the sixth wicket against South Africa in the league stage was the most in a World Cup innings.
