Recent Injury and Return to Competitive Action
Last month, Rehan Ahmed had returned prematurely from the England Lions tour in Australia due to a leg muscle strain. This occurred during the warm-up fixture prior to the first Test in the Ashes series in Australia. However, he has since made a full recovery and is currently in Australia with the Hobart Hurricanes for the Big Bash Cricket Competition.
BBL Appearance and Ashes Context
Rehan Ahmed made his BBL debut for the Hobart Hurricanes in their first match, where he featured with a spell and a bat in a four-wicket victory over the Sydney Thunder.
