Rishabh Pant should start opening: Sanjay Bangar

Sanjay Bangar has made a big statement regarding India’s wicket-keeper better Rishabh Pant.

Indian commentator Sanjay Bangar has made a big statement on Rishabh Pant. The Indian gave the wicket-keeper batter a suggestion that he feels will work and can make his poor batting form good. Rishabh Pant was the captain of the Indian cricket team in the 5-match T20I series against South Africa. The series ended up in 2-2.

It was Rishabh Pant’s first series as captain of the Indian team and the wicket-keeper batter did well. Indian team made a strong comeback in this T20I series after losing the first two games against South Africa. Despite a decent captaincy, Rishabh Pant’s poor batting form was talked about a lot in this series. Rishabh didn’t score a single half-century in this series and didn’t look in good touch. He was dismissed on a bad ball not once but thrice. Rishabh Pant wasn’t judging the ball right and also failed in deciding which ball to hit and which one to leave. Sanjay Bangar has stated him and said if Rishabh Pant wants to regain his batting form, he should try opening the innings and he feels this will also help India have a left-right combination in the opening.

“If India is looking for a left-right opening combination for a long term then Rishabh Pant should start opening,” said Sanjay Bangar via Star.
