Rocket League has done a crossover with the FIFA World Cup 2026 and honestly, it is pretty good. The event is already live in the game right now, and you have time till July 20, 2026, at 9 AM Pacific Time to finish everything, so do not sleep on it.
First Thing to Do When You Log In
When you open the game, go straight to the event page and pick a country to support in the World Cup. Whatever progress you make will count towards that country on the global leaderboard, so pick wisely yaar. After that you are good to start grinding the quests.
The Big Free Reward Everyone is Going For
The real reason everyone is excited about this event is the free Hyundai Ioniq 6 Car Body. Yes, completely free. You just have to finish 10 event challenges, and it is yours. No spending anything. On top of that, most of the cosmetics from this event work in Fortnite as well, so if you play both games, you are basically getting double the value from everything you unlock here.

Which Ones Are Worth Grinding First
The goal-based challenges are the most straightforward ones. Score 20, 35, and 50 goals while wearing any World Cup 26 Country Title or Octane Decal, and you pick up the Rocket Boost, a Special Drop, and the FIFA 2026 Animated Decal one after the other. Just make sure you have the right decal equipped before you start, or the goals will not count.
The XP challenges run alongside everything else naturally. Gain 6 XP Levels for a Deluxe Drop and earn 35,000 XP for another Sports Drop. These will mostly complete themselves as you play through the other quests, so do not stress about them separately.
The FIFA 2026 Goal Explosion is one of the nicest looking rewards in the whole event, and you get it by reaching 10,000 total points in online matches. Worth pushing for.
The Hyundai Ioniq 6 Bundle is Actually Solid
Once you pick up the Ioniq 6 Wheels from getting 20 saves, you can equip the Ioniq 6 N-Line and drive 8,000 metres in online matches to unlock the Hyundai Ioniq 6 La Mode Decal. Then complete 10 challenges total and the full Hyundai Ioniq 6 Car Body is yours. The whole Hyundai set, together, looks genuinely clean in-game.
Do Not Forget the Repeatable Quests
Playing 15 online matches drops a FIFA 2026 Special Drop, and you can repeat that five times total. Winning 10 online matches gives you an XP Level Up, and that one has no limit so you can keep going as long as you want. Good way to keep making progress even after everything else is done.
The event runs till July 20 so you have decent time, but the quests are grindy so better to start sooner than later.
