Rohit Sharma credits IPL for having many captaincy options in Indian team
Indian cricket team captain Rohit Sharma is happy to have so many captain options in Team India.

Indian cricket team skipper Rohit Sharma gave credits to Indian Premier League for having so many captaincy options in Indian team. Rohit Sharma has praised the tournament (IPL) as he feels it gives a lot of opportunities to players to show up their real talent and brings out a leader in them. This leadership of players in Indian Premier League is an advantage for the Indian team.
Rohit feels if the full-time captain is injured or couldn’t play any match or tournament, there are lot of players in the team who can come up as leader and can lead the team on behalf of him.
“IPL has created the platform for Indian team to have many captaincy options and given them lots of experience as a leader,” said skipper Rohit Sharma as reported by Crictraker.
Rohit Sharma is a full-time captain of Indian cricket team in all the three formats. Since he (Rohit Sharma) has been named as the Indian team captain, there were 8 new captains made for the different series. Some of them include Shikhar Dhawan, Ajinkya Rahane, Jasprit Bumrah, KL Rahul, Rishabh Pant, Hardik Pandya, Bhuvneshwar Kumar.
