India captain Rohit Sharma had a funny moment with teammate Sarfaraz Khan on the second day of the two-day practice match against Prime Minister’s XI at Manuka Oval in Canberra.
Rohit Sharma’s Playful Moment with Sarfaraz Khan During Practice Match
Sarfaraz, who was replacing Rishabh Pant as the substitute wicketkeeper, missed an easy catch behind the stumps. In a light-hearted moment, Rohit jokingly punched him on the back. The incident occurred in the 23rd over when Harshit Rana bowled a short ball to Oliver Davies, who had just come in to bat after Jack Clayton was out.

The ball flew past Clayton, and Sarfaraz, who was wicketkeeping, missed it. As Sarfaraz bent down to pick up the ball, Rohit playfully punched him on the back. Both of them smiled after the funny moment.
Davies was dismissed for a duck on the very next ball by Rana, who bowled a stunning delivery to clean him up.
Earlier, the two-day practice match was shortened to a 50-overs-a-side game after heavy rain on Day 1 prevented any play.
In the first Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, India made an incredible comeback after a series whitewash against New Zealand at home, defeating Australia by 295 runs in Perth, despite being bowled out for just 150 runs in their first innings.
