On Day 4 of the third Khelo India Junior Women’s Hockey League (Phase-2) here on Tuesday, SAI Shakti, Roundglass Punjab Hockey Club Academy, Har Hockey Academy, Pritam Siwach Hockey Academy, SAI Bal, and HIM Hockey Academy all won their respective Pool games.
In Pool A’s opening match of the day, SAI Shakti defeated Citizen Hockey XI 16-2. With six goals, Kanika Siwach (2′, 5′, 8′, 22′, 38′, 41′) was the star for SAI Shakti.
Goals were also contributed by Lalrinpuii (7′, 16′), Nandini (10′, 29′), Monika Tirkey (37′, 42′), Sukhveer Kaur (39′), Kiranpreet Kaur (44′), Manisha (51′), and Selestina Horo (58′). Geeta scored the two goals for Citizen Hockey XI (35′, 52′).
In the second game, Pool A’s Madhya Pradesh Hockey Academy was defeated 2-1 by Roundglass Punjab Hockey Club Academy.
Punjab Hockey Club Academy came back fiercely, and goals from Namneet Kaur (23′) and Pawanpreet Kaur (38′) ensured they walked away with the victory. Sonam scored the first goal of the game for Madhya Pradesh Hockey Academy (11′).

In Pool A’s third game of the day, Har Hockey Academy defeated Salute Hockey Academy 14-0. Captain Shashi Khasa (24′, 30′, 49′, 51′), Ishika (7′, 21′, 36′, 38′), Seema (20′), Bhteri (33′), Pinki (35′, 53′), Kaffi (39′), and Sukhpreet Kaur (58′) scored goals for Har Hockey Academy.
Sonepat easily defeated Republican Sports Club 9-1 in Pool B’s fourth game of the day, the Pritam Siwach Hockey Academy.
The Pritam Siwach Hockey Academy, Sonepat’s captain Kajal (30′, 54′, 60′), Khushi (13′, 37′, 38′, 41′), Ekta (26′), and Mahi (56′) all scored goals for the team. Tanu Shorensangbam scored the lone goal for Republican Sports Club in the 55th minute.
SAI Bal defeated Bhai Behlo Hockey Academy, Bhagta 10-0 in Pool B’s fifth match with to goals from Gedala Gayathri (1′), Sanajana Horo (8′), Suneeta Kumari (10′, 43′, 44), Sakshi Shukla (12′, 19′, 48′), Himanshi Gawande (41′), and Dechamma PG (50′).
HIM Academy defeated Sports Authority of Gujarat Hockey Academy 4-3 in the day’s final game. Anshika (13′), Payal Yadav (40′), Anjni (43′), and Bhoomi Tiwari (56′) scored the goals for HIM Academy. Goals were scored by the captain of the Sports Authority of Gujarat Hockey Academy, Roshniben Gavit, in the 22nd and 43rd minutes, and Sushila Pawar in the 57th.
