SBC Summit is heading back to Lisbon next week, and this year’s edition is shaping up to be the biggest one ever. The event has grown by 20% compared to last year, welcoming a record 30,000 delegates. Along with that impressive milestone, attendees can expect brand-new features designed to tackle some of the industry’s most pressing challenges, plus an even stronger focus on hospitality and networking.

A Truly Global Gathering

With visitors flying in from more than 130 countries, the Summit is set to be its most international yet. New stages dedicated to Global and Emerging Markets will highlight opportunities in Africa, Latin America, Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and North America. Regionally focused networking areas will also give delegates a chance to connect with peers from across the globe.

Big Names and Fresh Learning Experiences

The agenda is stacked with headline keynotes from Gary Vaynerchuk, Randi Zuckerberg, and a roster of legendary sports figures. A new addition this year is the Tech Academies, where attendees can dive into hands-on workshops covering AI, blockchain, gamification, and marketing.

Exploring the Expo Floor

Spanning 135,000 square metres, the expo floor will host 700 exhibitors across dedicated themed zones, making it easier to find exactly what you’re looking for. Delegates will also enjoy interactive showcases, lounges, and nine Food Festival areas with over 40 different dining options.

Big-name brands on display include 1xBet, Altenar, Amusnet, Clever Advertising, Digitain, EveryMatrix, GR8 Tech, iGP, Kaizen Gaming, Optimove, PayFuture, Smartsoft, Soft2Bet, and Stake.

Adding some extra excitement, the floor will also feature special appearances from award-winning artist Jordan Dawson, Portuguese actress and influencer Margarida Corceiro, and football stars like Cafu, Marco Materazzi, Claude Makélélé, and Marek Hamšík.

Focused on What Matters

Rasmus Sojmark, CEO and Founder of SBC, commented: “We are looking forward to SBC Summit returning to Lisbon next week. Last year was a huge success and taught us a lot, especially when it comes to what really connects with delegates.

“This year, we focused on the topics that matter most, from adding new stages covering global and emerging markets to dedicated academies on AI and marketing. And of course, some super star appearances to add that iconic SBC flair.”

A Packed Conference Programme

The six-stage conference agenda brings together more than 550 industry experts, 44% of them C-level executives. Hot topics include affiliation, player protection, and the latest in technology, martech, and payments, supported by the Payment Expert Summit.

The famous Super Stage at the MEO Arena will return, hosting talks from some of the biggest names in sports, including Oleksandr Usyk, Rubens Barrichello, and football legends like Kaká, Edwin van der Sar, Roberto Carlos, Michael Owen, and Petr Čech.

The Super Stage will also showcase a high-profile “Super CEO Panel” featuring Daniel Taylor (CEO International, Flutter International), Neal Menashe (CEO, Super Group), Joanne Whittaker (CEO, Betfred), Jesper Svensson (CEO, Betsson Group), and Simon Lidzén (CEO & Co-founder, Fast Track).

Celebrations and Awards

When the sun sets, the MEO Arena will transform into a stage for two major award shows. On Wednesday, 17 September, the very first Affiliate Leaders Awards will spotlight innovation in the affiliate space. The following evening, Peter Schmeichel will host the 12th SBC Awards, honouring excellence across payments, marketing, platforms, and data.

The Affiliate Leaders Awards will also anchor the expanded Affiliate Leaders Summit, now 40% bigger and running across all three days, bringing together affiliates and operator programmes under one roof.

Parties, Music, and Networking

Delegates can look forward to a lively social programme, from the Opening Party at Urban Beach featuring DJs Joel Corry and Imanbek, to the INFINITY Lisbon Closing Party headlined by EDM stars ALOK and Timmy Trumpet.

Other highlights include the Legends Charity Game on Monday, 15 September, where Portugal Legends will face off against World Legends in a match aiming to raise more than €1 million for charity.

Extra Perks for Attendees

This year’s Summit comes with plenty of extras designed to make the experience smoother and more memorable:

  • Airport Registration: Pick up your badge directly at Lisbon Airport (14–17 September) for hassle-free entry.

  • SBC Connect App: Plan your schedule, book meetings, and network with fellow delegates.

  • Media Headquarters: A dedicated space for media outlets, interviews, press conferences, and podcasts.

  • Masterclasses: Expert sessions covering sportsbook trading, slot machine design, and Ukrainian regulation.

  • First Pitch Competition: Watch startups compete for a prize package worth over €90,000.

And of course, countless networking opportunities across both daytime and evening events.

The Greatest Show in Gaming

“SBC Summit 2025 wouldn’t be possible without the incredible support of the industry. To our sponsors, exhibitors, speakers, and attendees, thank you for helping us bring to life what has truly become the greatest show in gaming.” Sojmark added.
