Indian esports icon Tanmay Singh, better known as ScoutOP, has officially retired from BGMI Esports after the BGMS 2025 Grand Finals. The 30-year-old is widely celebrated as one of the biggest names in Indian gaming and a true pioneer who helped shape the country’s esports scene.
Scout was admired for his sharp tactical gameplay, scouting abilities, quick flanks, and clutch fragging. Apart from his competitive career, he also became one of India’s most influential gaming personalities with over 5.08 million subscribers on YouTube and 4.4 million Instagram followers.

On Sunday, September 14, 2025, right after the BGMS 2025 Grand Finals, Scout announced his retirement through social media with a simple but emotional note:
“Officially signing off. Tysm for everything.”
This post marked the end of an era for Indian BGMI, as Scout has been one of the most important figures in the growth of PUBG Mobile and BGMI esports since 2018.
