The IS Bindra PCA Stadium in Mohali will host the inaugural season of the Sher-e-Punjab T20 Cup. It will include six teams: the Knights, the Blasters, the Strikers, the Phantoms, the Falcons, and the Stallions.
There will be no draft or auction to pick players for the tournament. Instead, the state association selectors will finalize the squads, captains, coaches, and other support staff members.
During the league stage, each team will face the opposing team twice, with the top four teams advancing to the knockouts. Both semi-finals will take place on July 28, followed by the final two days later.
